Sirius Discussion was a Podcast idea created by Pat Treacy. The first person he went to with it was John Newman who, after a bit of persuasion, decided to hop on-board. After a lot of planning and discussing they decided to send out invitations to a few people they knew, most notably Casey Tremper, and Jen Bergus. Together they all came up with the title “Sirius Discussion” Sirius, being not only the favourite character of many in the Harry Potter series, but also sounding simialr to ‘Serious’ which we are anything but. After a bit more fine tuning and learning about the make-up of a podcast, they recorded their first show and got it on this site.
Recently they have decided to change from being solely a Harry Potter podcast to being a variety podcast. This gives the hosts a lot more room to work with and gives the audience a much greater perspective on the hosts.
